Excessive drinking over time creates a habit that can be hard to break. Taken too far, it can lead to alcohol addiction.
With hypnosis, you can change it before that happens. That's what my client did.
Jim had been drinking heavily for as long as he's been in his current job. He couldn't relax and drinking after work helped him do just that.
But he didn’t want to quit drinking completely. He just wanted to moderate it.
His wife complained about his heavy drinking. It was affecting the quality of their family life and she needed his help to parent their boys.
He realised it himself but was unable to do it on his own.
His goal was to learn to relax and feel confident about his work so he wouldn't need to drink. And he wanted to be more present in his family's life, particularly with his children.
After our first session, he decided to stop drinking for a month while we worked in hypnotherapy.
After just a few sessions, he was more relaxed and more effective at work. He went to the gym regularly and was spending more time at home. He was part of the kids’ life again.
When I followed up, he told me that he still drinks but he decides in advance how many drinks he’ll have and now he sticks to his plan. Besides, he doesn’t have much time to drink.
Now he's got a life.
